Other MODES of Travel
For those traveling by other means, you may be asking, why aren’t RVs, buses, cruise ships or other modes of travel included in the specific BROWSE by MODE of Travel selection menu??
We’ve spent a significant amount of time thinking about this, and while trying to organize these other categories, we found them quite redundant. As a result, we recommend thinking about the child’s potential play surface. If, for example, a child is riding on a bus, it is quite similar to a car (and is why we have linked this with VEHICLE travel), however, there may also be a tray that comes down from the seat in front. If this is the case, bus travel options may be more similar to train or plane.
For an RV (a Class A or Class C, where, as my children call it, “a drive RV”), a child may be in a seat, or at a table, so determine the seat type and then shop accordingly (and we have included RV with Vehicles).
For a Cruise Ship, we recommend shopping by the mode of travel that will be needed to GET TO the cruise ship…. are you driving to the dock?.....flying by plane? OR, you can shop the whole site if you are just interested in activities for ON the cruise ship. Cruise Ship travel is the least restricted mode, in our opinion, as there is NO time when one is confined to a seat for any long period of time.
